In the context of the Piccoli Grandi Musei – Toscana ‘900. Art Tours and Museums, the exhibition will be shining the spotlight on the heritage of 20th century works of art in Florence that are not normally on public display – “silent” and unexpected artworks from collections both public and private, including works by Balla, De Chirico, Donghi, Severini and Rosai, but also Pascali, Fontana and Castellani. The exhibits will be accompanied by a display of rare artist’s books and art books – from Kandinsky and Picasso to Duchamp and Baj – along with precious examples of graphic art by such leading figures as Casorati, Morandi, Pasolini, Picasso and Henry Moore.
